The Granary

Great location but very compact Positive: Really great site with lovely farm shop and unexpected amenities such as a salon and garden centre - didnt use them but it was nice to see! Staff were all lovely too. Location really good for touring the north of Kent. Negative: Had to ask for an iron despite it being on the list. Second bedroom very small to keep a suitcase in and no storage whatsoever. One wardrobe for both rooms which had about 4 hangers and one shallow drawer. No hooks on doors or walls for jackets, towels etc. Balcony was nice in a warm evening but a couple of chairs outside would have been good. Staff were lovely but had no idea how long we were staying and had to ask, they then brought more loo rolls but we had minimal towels and just one to step onto after a shower which was pretty grubby after 4 days and 3 people having showers before and after beach trips. The old tower fan also did absolutely nothing and the heat was very high.

For 2 of us it was tidy & comfortable. Negative: It was a 2 bedroom apartment but whoever was in the 2nd bedroom had to go through our bedroom to use the bathroom!

Positive: Lovely location. Very comfy beds Negative: The only downside was that there was not enough room for a sofa

Positive: The location in Quex park is excellent, especially being next to the farm shop which is great for treats and everyday items. Friendly and helpful staff. Negative: We've stayed in The Cow Shed accommodation in the past and we thought the facilities would be the same, but in the granary the bathroom was accessed via the main bedroom and there was no comfortable seating in the main room. I understand putting a kitchen table in the space, but the dining chairs were very uncomfortable.

Adequate, nice location and people were very friendly Positive: Location Negative: Could be cleaner there was a lot of dust on the window sills in bedrooms and a spider and web in fridge
